TITLE:  Program Manager: Middle & High School                    JOB FAMILY:  Program


Sell, implement, and manage daily operations of Junior Achievement's Middle & High School programs. 

Coordinate all aspects of program implementation by developing cohort relationships, selling programs to area schools, facilitating training sessions, keeping up to date and accurate documentation, and communicating with various community resources. 

  • "Sell" our free programs to middle and high schools.*

  • Increase public awareness for all programs by attending community meetings as well as formal presentations when necessary.

  • Assure program quality, expansion, and great school relations.

  • Renew commitments of schools/teachers currently involved and recruit new schools/teachers.

  • Develop and deliver all presentations to schools/teachers.

  • Renew commitments from business leaders who have been volunteers and identifies/recruits business leaders who have not been involved with the programs in order to secure top caliber volunteers and maintain the quality of the programs.

  • Develop and deliver all needed presentations.

  • Assures quality of programs through phone calls, classroom monitoring, participant servicing, evaluation instruments, and newsletters.

  • Continually provides feedback, program materials and resources to volunteers and teachers.

  • Maintain database information on all programs and participants.

  • Submit class registration forms and required reports to National Headquarters on a timely basis.

  • Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to help deliver programs and plan volunteer recognition.

  • Secure location of training, develops orientation materials, schedule volunteers/teachers, order program materials, distribute registration and evaluation forms, and produce reports about results as required.


Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Selling skills. Oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, organization and planning skills, computer skills, ability to be creative. Computer competency and evidence of problem solving and creative ability. Self-motivated.

Desired: Experience in sales, education, and business and/or familiarity/relationships with area schools and businesses.
